I agree with this article i can defiantly see us winning 53-55 games this season and if we don’t run into LA in the playoffs there isn’t any reason why we shouldn’t make it to conference finals.

Thoughts?

I think we’ll get the 3rd seed if not the 2nd seed. We’ll make a stronger competitor against LA now this year seeing as our length in AJ will help greatly in the post and defense.

    Conference Finals here we come!

  2. Does it really matter? It’s possible they could be the second best team in the conference when it’s all said and done, but is there really any consolation in that? Does anyone care who finishes second? Unfortunately, it’s all Lakers, all the time. They can afford to go 20 plus million into the luxury tax, where other teams (save maybe Mark Cuban in Dallas) can’t, or just won’t. The only thing that can stop the Lakers is injuries.

With Jefferson, Hayward, and Bell I think the team will be much better off. AK, and CJ are due for a breakout season. I always felt they felt they couldn’t beat the lakers. Once they get over that hump they will be fine..

I think this is the most unbiased/honest prediction we have ever seen for the Jazz. While i do think the worst case scenario could be even worse that the 5th seed I really like how this writer didn’t just write us off like most people do.

i read it and belive everything they say
    except one thing

So we’re looking at 49-55 wins according to the article. And Western Conference Finals barring a 1st or 2nd rind Laker matchup or a Thunder/Mavs/Rockets upset. Tell you what, that sounds spot on. Hope for a Spurs-Lakers first round and a Mavs-Lakers second round to give the Jazz the best chances. To do that we need to be at the high end of regular season wins and take the 2 or 3 spot. Go Jazz!

I would say Spurs Lakers 1st round then Portland Lakers 2nd round. If the Blazers are healthy they can crush LA. the Jazz on the other hand can crush Portland.
