Meet
Red Headed Jazzbot

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.My name is Nate and my life basically revolves around the Jazz. I’m currently a student at the University of Utah and plan my school schedule around the Jazz. Because I’m a student all of my money goes towards tuition, except for the amount needed to buy 2 nosebleed season tickets every year. I don’t care how high I sit in the house that Larry built; I’m just happy to be there!
As Jazz fans we become one with the team. We’re an important part of their success on their home court. I’ve been lucky enough to witness the incredible playoff game against the Warriors when Derek Fisher played the most emotional game of his life. I’ve been lucky enough to witness the greatest game-winning shot by a guy who was playing on a 2-week contract; thank you Mr. Gaines! I was even able to witness the seemingly indestructable losing streak in San Antonio come to an end. It was an amazing feeling to sit in the AT&T Center in San Antonio and watch thousands of Spurs fans walk out with their heads down. These games and these moments are what sports are all about. It’s what being Jazz fans is all about. And that’s why I want to be a Jazzbot. The Jazz community is the best in the NBA and I wouldn’t want anything more than to be able to write about the thing I’m most passionate about and share it with fellow Jazz fans.
I might read the Utah Jazz media guide while I’m taking care of business on the John. My license plate might read “DW84MVP” to promote our favorite candidate for the most prestigious individual award in all of basketball. My wardrobe might be made up of 75% Jazz gear. But I don’t care. I’m proud to admit these things. Especially to the greatest fans in the NBA. I’m only one of many very worthy candidates for a Jazzbot position, but I know I wouldn’t fail to disapoint my fellow Jazz fanatics because my passion runs high and am one with you all.
I get shivers just thinking about the beginning of this season. I’m excited to watch these guys bond and become a Jazz team that we will never forget. Go Jazz!!!!!!
