Even though it contains no profanity. This is no longer a free forum for fans to express themselves. UJ360 is now apparently deleting posts that are critical of the Jazz organization.
There have been posts in the past with lots of obscene content; racism, sexism, profanity…but apparently that’s all good. But don’t you dare criticize the Jazz front office. Your posts will be deleted without notification.
It’s been fun getting to know all of you fellow Jazz fans. KC and Taco, you guys know what’s up. Dallan and Omar, better watch what you say from now on.
To everybody else, we’ve had our disagreements, but it has always been for love of this Utah Jazz team. It’s been a great few years, with plenty of ups and downs. But I won’t tolerate an unknown moderator deleting an articulate, well thought out post that I worked hard on writing.
The #firecorbin movement is gaining momentum. Maybe they deleted my post in an attempt to quell that momentum. Let’s keep fighting and show the Jazz organization that we DEMAND a coach who can bring out the best in this team.
Most importantly, I really hope that my favorite sports team of all time gets their act together, and becomes everything that I know they have the potential to be.

UPDATE:
I recieved an email from Bill Lea, who manages this and a couple of other sites. He stated that the reason he took down the post was because I made a comment about Corbin and compared him to a tumor.
In retrospect, that was probably a bit much. Joking about cancer isn’t funny. I wasn’t trying to offend anybody, so I’ve deleted that portion of the post. I still find it odd that of all things that’s apparently what can get posts taken down. But cancer is an epidemic in the world that affects billions of people. So I’ll eat crow for that one.
I want to thank Bill Lea for responding so quickly. He even left in the part about the tumor. So that shows integrity on his part. I told him next time just to email me! That I way I won’t cry censorship and get everybody all riled up.
So, I apologize if I offended anyone with that statement. However, my opinion on Corbin remains unchanged, and I refuse to apologize for trying to start a movement to get him removed from his current position. I sincerely believe that he is a poor fit for coaching this team.
I’m happy to say I’ll still be posting here. I really don’t have too many other ways to procrastinate at work. And I was seriouslly bummed about the possibility of no longer browsing the forum, and trashing everybody’s ridiculous trade ideas 
But I was prepared to follow through with it, because if you don’t have principles, what do you really have?
I’d also like to add that I’ve never once doubted Corbin’s comittment to this team, and I do appreciate all of the hard work he puts in. But he’s not getting the job done, and doesn’t seem to be any better of a coach than he was from day 1.

Whoever the moderator is on this site…you do a lousy job. I haven’t been able to leaves posts on this site for quite some time. Just a technical issue? I’m not so sure. Not to mention all the spam always popping up. Poorly run site all around if you ask me. I’d love for a fellow 360 fan with the time and the ability to create a new Jazz website for all of us. If they did, I would switch over in a heartbeat.
I support your decision Nick. I will have to check out SLCDunk. It will be interesting to see how long this post stays on the board.

That’s a total load. The fans are what supports the team, our right to express concern when the organization is dicking around, being content with mediocrity, is something that should be held in high esteem, rather than quelled. What a joke. It sucks when idiocy dampers your passion for your favorite team.
I come to this site for intellegent basketball conversation. I won’t name names but a lot of people who used to comment don’t anymore. Yes you are free to say what you want but most sites local and nationaly have a moderator. Some are very strict and some are very loose.
I don’t understand why this post would have been picked because there were far worse over the years with Sloan..
Coaches for years are the one picked out to blame the problems on.That is just the way it is.
Take comments with a grain on salt and don’t get your fir ruffeled.
Yes the main problem I have with this is that spam articles get left up here for days while his thought-provoking article was deleted. Disappointing to say the least.

You can be insulting and homophobic, But dont you dare criticize Corbin!! “He is a great coach, who would play Bell, CJ, Howard, and Watson over Burks, Carroll, and Tinsley?! Its a no brainer!! Just look at the great seasons Bell, CJ, Howard, and Watson are having in 2012-13, extend Corbin”
Ya right. For the record all the coaches that played Al a ton of minutes and made him the center piece—-they all got fired in large part to Al.

Says article has been restored. Probably some real bad stuff someone had posted. Most sites review articles posted before they post them. This is a good idea. I think a lot of us would donate a couple of hours a day to moderate to help out. Thanks Bill..
Sir Nick, I tend to be more supportive of Corbin than you, but we need your input on this site. I hope that you’ll reconcider and come back.
I’m actually a professional web developer /designer / application developer / computer programmer….perhaps I will tackle this at some point. I have great ideas for interactive mini-applications and lots of ideas how to improve the forum experience, and in-game chat. If enough people were really interested, I would love to go for it at some point (free time allowing)
Hey Bill, how about posting here why you took it down in the first place. Is this not a fan site, or what? If you’re going to go deleting stuff, stick to the annoying ads and spam posted by foreigners and who knows who. Those usually stay up for days and sometimes don’t ever get removed.

I’m okay with deleting bad content if it has profanity or filth. Not saying Nick’s post had that, but I also don’t agree with some who are saying because this is a fan site, anything goes. There still needs to be boundaries.
That being said, I DO wish they’d delete those spam articles a lot faster than they do. That takes forever.

Anyway, back to basketball, we go through rookie player’s growing pains. I think it’s the same for a coach who’s in his first ‘real’ full season. I’ve also seen moves I don’t quite understand, like Burks getting such few minutes and Jefferson not getting reprimended as he should for his lack of defense.
I think it’s just cautious to hold off for this season, see if we make the playoffs and see how it all turns out. It’s a combination of the player’s effort, coaching and the pieces that are given to the coach to run the team (front office). There is a logjam in the back and front court and the FO I’m sure are pretty aware of this. If no trade is made before the deadline then I will start growing weary of what the FO truly wants for this team.
Remember that Dennis Lindsey comes from a team who has been a contender for many years. Let’s hope he changes this team from a pretender to a contender as well.

There’s also a forum called jazzfanz.com but it’s not great. A lot of people posting who have no idea what they’re talking about. But it’s better than nothing.
360 is definitely better than that one though.
@Eric and KC–I’m a technical writer, editor and desktop publisher with experience in graphic design, dreamweaver, indesign, photoshop, etc. Maybe we can make something happen…
