Meet
Jazz fans around the World

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.So a few of you may know that i’ve been doing a Utah Jazz Podcast. On the Website I submit through (Podomatic) it shows me a downloads activity chart of all my downloads in the past year. I’ve only been doing the Podcast since the middle of January and it’s quite interesting to see where many of my downloads are coming from.
Majority of my downloads (35) are coming from Salt Lake, obviously. But more interesting Japan is next up (16). That completely caught me off guard. There are a few downloads around the Western U.S. Excluding Utah (17), a few in Europe (7) and Japan (16). Totaling 75 at the present. I’m just surprised to see Jazz fans around the world, I know there are NBA fans around the world but most of them claim to be Boston, Lakers, Miami or Spurs fans. The really popular teams at the time. It’s quite refreshing to know there are Jazz fans in there as well!
My podcasts are nothing special, but I recap every game (since Jazz @ Celtics). I talk about the game, stats, what the Jazz should’ve/could’ve done better and what we did well. You can listen at iTunes through the first link or Podomatic.

good post. Let me tell you im from guatemala and me and my 2 brothers watch the jazz every single night , and we dont have any bonds with utah or the usa, but we feel as good as any jazz fan. go jazz
Very few Jazz fans in France, and so many TP Spurs bandwagons, but i’m here, since 20 years to defend the Jazz Note till the end…… Go Jazz
Just a question for both of you, Do you have friends that are Spurs, Lakers, Celtics, and Miami fans? that’s the way it seems though, they don’t really know about the small market teams that aren’t going to the finals or have huge popular players on their teams.
Great to have you 2 guys as Jazz fans!
I don’t really have friends who are as crazy about basketball than me, but i can assure you that 99% of NBA fans in France are Spurs, Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Heat and Knicks fan….. Spurs for TP, Lakers for Hollywood and the money which buy titles, Bulls for MJ, Celtics for the big 3, Heat for the Hype, and Knicks for NY, and i think today it’s allmost impossible to find a Cavs fan in my country……… French fans are not very loyal
back here basketball its not very popular, so in order to see an nba game you have to purchase a dish network, direct tv or something like that, so there are really no nba fans, but yes the tendency are the lakers, bulls (they still think jordan plays) and heat
Well, it’s good to have you guys as fans! It’s the same here, by the way, have to have Cable or Satellite to view Jazz games since it’s only on FSN or you can get NBA League Pass.
Go Jazz, Let’s start a nice win streak, starting tonight!
Nice, great announcement. So chalk one more for the Philippines in your list.
I will being checking out your podcast from Australiall. Same situation as the Guatemalan boys, no SLC loyalty, but the first NBA game I saw (TV) was Jazz v Spurs,. I supported the Jazz and my mate started supporting the Spurs. Our High School BBall coach used to show us weekly NBA games during lunch training.
I’m from Brazil, didn’t know about the podcast, will check it out too.
I don’t know many NBA fans around here (real fans), which tends to help me – since games often start very late at night here, I can watch them the morning after because I won’t hear neighbours screaming or get calls when my team loses, as always happens with soccer.
People I know around here usually say they support the Bulls (last 2 I asked didn’t know who Derrick Rose was), the Celtics or the Lakers. The only real fan I know (watches games and knows what’s happening) supports the Knicks.
Sweet, Great to have you all as Loyal Jazz Fans!
