3 way deal

If Houston really wants Howard, they can offer up this three way and sweeten the deal w picks. Utah can throw in a trade exemption too for a pick. The money for the trade is a wash.

Utah sends Jefferson and Bell to Orlando
Orlando sends Howard to Houston
Houston sends Martin and Lowery to Utah

With all the draft picks and traded player exemptions also on the table, the GMs could make this happen. Thoughts??

If Houston were to get Howard they wouldn’t need Utah’s help. I think the best we can hope for is the Howard thing falls through and Houston is basically forced into trading lowry and Kevin Martin for Jefferson and bell. Cause trading dalembert away puts them in a bind for a center

  2. True John. Im not really understanding the Howard thing. there must be another superstar that actually wants to play in Houston that they are going to trade him for.

But giv Houston credit for busting ass and getting aggressive with oportunity . It might pay off

From what I’ve read their also pursuing deron Williams. Which will be the key to keeping Howard around long term if they can get the trade for him.
