D league call up for PG

Not sure I can watch anymore Watson. Dude may make a great coach someday, but he is done playing.

So should we send Murphy back to get some PT, buy out Raja, call up a D league PG?

Chris Quinn – dude was in camp with Jazz, is an NBA vet and is playing well.

Cory Joseph – an SAS asset and the top D league point.

Watson is straight garbage!! But as long is Corbin is coach and KOC is the true shot-caller, Watson and Bell arent going away….uugghh!

  2. Patrick says:

roster is full. not this year. sorry guys

  3. We just need are coach to be somewhat competent! Mo comes back to start, and Alec Backs him up. Or vice versa for a couple games. We never see Watson again and start over in the off season. Should be easy right…..? I know!

  4. When Mo comes back I hope we see him starting at point and Burks coming off the bench and Foye helping if necessary.

@ST: You don’t understand how the system works. As Patrick says the roster is full. No more changes..

  6. Henri says:

… even if a buyout of Bell’s contract is done (highly doubtfull now that the playoff’s deadline has passed) ?

… even if a player (Murphy) is assigned to the D-league ?

(the cases raised by ST that may decrease the number of roster spots)

Anyway, I think it’s way too late to work out this type of solution.

I remember in the pre-season how we called up 4 guys to train with us in summer camp. Out of the 4 Chris Quinn I was quite impressed with, he looked confident handling the ball and I wished he would have stayed with us. Of course the only way getting him to stay with us would have been be by sending Raja off somehow. He would have been a better backup PG than what we currently have, hands down.

  8. L.K.Anderson says:

Murph is part of the fifteen man roster. Going to the D-league does not change that.If Bell was waived a call up could be done but that player would not be eligible in post season..

  9. ST Spalding says:

So last year when we signed Ahearn in April, he was not eligible for the playoff roster ?? It’s moot anyway – Ty will play his BFF Watson anyway.

  10. Jay Ericksen says:

It looks to me that Bell wins anyway because he has hindered our ability to get a good backup pg . I am not sure why they are not eligible for the playoffs at this point . Please explain if you can .

  11. L.K.Anderson says:

Rosters have to be set by March 1.

  12. Jay Ericksen says:

    Thanx LKAnderson

  13. ST Spalding says:

Well so much for the rooster is full u don’t know what the rules are speech !!
