Houston… Jazz have landed

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.So with GSW tanking and lady luck sucking, what is KOC to do? In my opinion we work a deal w Houston. They already tried to ship Martin. Lowery wants out. They will try first to resign Dragic. McHale loves Jefferson. Houston has two picks in a range that appears to still have our player. So… Big Al and Bell to Houston for Martin and Lowery (math is almost perfect). Plus for us taking on a third year with Martin, Houston gives the Jazz the right on draft night to swap the 2012 16th pick for rights to the future GSW pick.
As much as I hate to say it, Big Al or Sap have to go to free up PT and bring in some perimeter shooting (and the possibility of stealing a slipping Marshall or Lillard too).

Lots of different scenarios, lots of endless possibilities. I am just glad to have a summer league to develop our young guys. Free agency doesnt look bad either.
I agree that we need perimeter help. Glad we have KOC at the helm to find it for us.
I would love to trade Al and Bell for Lowry and Martin. we would pick up a solid PG and a much better perimeter shooter/scorer.
Then I would offer either Harris to Portland for their 6th pick OR Harris AND Millsap to Portland for their 6th and 9th picks!
I would then draft Lillard to backup Lowry for a few years. This gives us a great scorer off the bench. Then to fill the void of PMill and Al I would defiantly pick up Ilyasove as a FA PF/C that can shoot from outside, score and rebound. I would take the best SF (P Jones) with the 9th pick to round out the roster.

Lillard,Tinsley/Burks/PJones/Evans/Kanter
Love the idea, but al, bell, and a decent pick in a draft next year that isn’t projected to be half as good as this years draft for Lowry, Martin, AND the 16th pick in this years draft? That would be a rape job. It’s not enough for Houston. Its a good start, yes. But not enough.
