Jazz keeping Favors from super-stardom?

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.“the only thing holding back a breakout season is an opportunity to play more minutes. The Jazz have a superstar in the making, if only Corbin and the Jazz management can figure out how to get him on the court.”

agree
Sports Illustrated also mentioned the same thing in an article. And just today, Tyrone Corbin said he isn’t “ready to think about” putting Derrick Favors in the starting line up.
I’ve always vouched for Corbin, but this is getting ridiculous.
Favors says he dosen’t care where his minutes come from. He played every minute of the overtime so I think that says something. I will trust the coach over any writer any day..
I cant believe this issue is so complicated: are the Jazz going to resign Al??? Are the Jazz going to resign Millsap?? More importantly, are the Jazz gonna win a championship playing Al and Millsap 30 minutes a piece?? If the answer to any of the questions is no, then the Jazz need to get Favors his 30 minutes. He should get those to start and to finish the game. Period. Not complicated at all, really— but you do need to be decisive and not yes/no/maybe/possibly so type, so thats why this becomes a complicated issue.
You know, the way Favors was/is talked about in terms of being “raw” offensively, a work-in-progress, etc. well that is what I heard about Kwahi Leonerd coming out of college, Spurs draft him, Pop coaches him, and as a rookie he starts on the #1 seed team in west finals. So developed is also on the coach: thats why Pop is HOFame and Corbin is…well Corbin…
Brilliantly said Omar.
LK thinks all things Jazz management and coaching staff are somehow infallible.
Jerry Sloan has publicly stated that he screwed up when he kept D-Will on the bench for so long. This Corbin-Favors situation is a VERY similar situation.
If EVERYONE is seeing something except the coach, then something just might be amiss.
