The Best of Times, The Worst of Times…

I’m really excited for the next few years and what they could potentially bring to us as Utah Jazz fans. We have good, young talent, Big Al has been playing as well as ANYONE in the NBA as of late, a solid one time All-Star at point guard, early first round draft picks, and cap space (after AK’s crippling contract is dissolved).

Things have been ugly the last 2/3 of the season but we have seen small glimpses of our potential in the future. We might have the worst shooting guard in the league with Raja playing like he has. Even on the defensive end, I feel like he has struggled and in my opinion his play with CJ’s inconsistency has been one of the biggest problems for us on the court. After CJ erupted for 40 against Minnesota, it’s obvious that the kid has major talent and potential, because not everyone can drop that many points in a professional basketball game. He is only 23 and still maturing as a ball player so i feel like he will continue to become more and more dependable.

Obviously we can still make the playoffs which would be great after all the turmoil that we’ve dealt with all year, but either way we have some exciting things on the horizon as an organization. I know as fans of one of the most stable franchises in professional sports, we expect to win and don’t handle losing well, but let’s stay positive and be optimistic about what the future could hold!

40 points in 18 shots is absolutely very good. Kobe has to take like 25 shots to hit 30.

    … and in 7 FT … kobe usually takes 15 FT !

Yeah they are only a couple of moves away to be the Jazz again and by the way was watching Deron new team there like the Jazz just a couple of moves away also. Who knows maybe in 3-4 years Nets and Jazz in the NBA finals if Williams stay with the nets that is.

  4. Yes, there is excitement in the air, no matter what happens these last 10 games. We have a very bright future!

Actually, the Jazz still won’t have any cap space next year. Despite AK’s $17.8m dropping off, the Jazz will still have $57m on the books. They will have some luxury tax breathing room, but no cap space.
