Randbot the Jazzbot

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.OK, it’s pretty simple. I should be a Jazzbot.
I mean, I was a Vae View Mustang when the Golden Griff and Big Mark were in the Palace, a North Layton Longhorn when a guy named Larry bought the team, a Layton Lancer when Johhny and Karl were making life horrible for anyone in Laker Purple, a Utah Ute when we got this kid named Andrei with a funny accent and I reluctantly moved to Oregon when the D Will /Booze era started.
I have spent half my earnings on League Pass, Southwest Tickets, Greyhound back problems, Ticketmaster fee headaches…and even sat in a line of hostile ‘fans’ outside Sacramento’s gem ‘Echo Arena’…all for the love of this team.
My boys.
They are my life, my passion and my understanding.
Sloan, to me, is like a Taoist sage or a man on a hill. His is the way.
A day doesnt go by without me using the knowledge or structure that my team has taught me, to relate a solution or solve a problem.
From teamwork. To listening. Dedication. Focus. And the most important ‘Sloanism’ of all:
“Work is a verb, NOT a noun”.
I guarantee any young person interviewing for a job, if you put on your Sloan Cap, you will get the job.
Say what Jerry would say….unless the interviewer is wearing stripes, then it’s probably best to just stick to your resume.
I know I have strayed a bit from my initial point, but that is the point.
The point of Blogging, the point of being a Jazzbot.
It is an art.
The ability to keep someones attention. And say absolutely nothing at all.
Just like Booner before the first half!
GO JAZZ!!!
