Good News, There is a Moderator

My Aggies blog just got deleted. And I had nothing to do with it. So there you go. Maybe you need to use the report thing more often if you want to get their attention. Guess I’ll have to be more subtle in the future if I want to talk about non-Jazz subjects on this site. Go Jazz!

Well, that’s good news. I was noticing that. I was about to make a comment about the Aggies on that. Oh well. Thanks Sam!

Thanks Sam, but its not good news. That person(s) has always been here. I guess they are making a little effort to control things, but if you remember Adam, there was a admin person threatening to delete your comments. I think it was on a post where a lot of us got into it. If you dig you can find it but I thought you knew. Then there was that time where someone posted a Boozer blog that was taken off before I could even comment because I think it was offensive. So they’ve been here but as long as its Jazz related and not offensive they don’t care. For example, Kelt’s post today should have been moved to the comment section of the Williams post or deleted. Then Kelt would be forced to comment rather than create a post. I understand you’ve been dry lately kelt so no offense but its a good example.
The terms of use say that content can be removed by the operator of the site it contains inappropriate content…there were a couple comments about another team that the site operator (moderater) probably didn’t agree deem appropriate. May not have been removed because it was an Aggies post but more to do with the language used to bash other teams.

No, it was nothing to do with the language. I read that post and was about to go comment about it. All that it said was that the Aggies are going to be a sleeper team this year and Sam was pointing out the near upset over #7 ranked Sooners as evidence. Nothing offensive. And yes champ, now that I recall I do remember a few blogs being removed, but I had forgot. Apparently the moderator just doesn’t do much at all. But yeah, the other Adam posted several blogs about the Jazz uniforms and they were all removed.
We must get to the bottom of this mystery!
I didn’t say anything offensive. It just had nothing to do with the Jazz. I didn’t think the blog would get removed because the other guy posted a blog about BYU and got away with it. Moderator, if you are out there, why did my Aggie blog get removed?
Sam, your Aggie blog was deleted because it had zero to do with the Jazz. There was a BYU blog that slipped through but should have been deleted by now, as well. The jersey post was deleted because it appeared to be spam and some of the links and images didn’t show up.
We would like Jazz fans to be able to comment and blog freely as long as the language is clean and doesn’t contain spam. Everyone has an opinion and this is the place to voice it.
However, there will be times when things slip through the cracks. It is inevitable. Therefore, there is a spot for any user to flag a post if they feel it is inappropriate. Those flagged posts are read immediately.
