Trade for a PG

Tyreke Evans seems like the best fit for the Jazz that the Jazz could pull off but with demarcus cousins demanding a trade i doubt the kings will trade a very good players in evans. The jazz need to package either harris with miles or harris with millsap for a good PG with a future.  I would love to see harris and miles to the knicks for tony douglas or to memphis for conley. If the jazz could trade either harris or miles straight up to the clippers for mo williams for a short term fix i wouldn’t mind it either

    What about rondo?

  2. KCJones says:

Oh yes, Tyreke is a known unselfish passer that would be perfect for this team. /no he’s not

You obviously haven’t watched any of the Kings game. He is the worst passer and just as bad shot selection. Don’t get me wrong, he’s talented but no b ball IQ in my opinion. Jimmer has been open countless times and Evans will pop a 20 footer with 2 dudes on him…nice try though

  4. Harris is better then Douglas, Conley, or Williams (at least in my opinion).

I’ve always thought Tyreke was more of a shooting guard, though I’d love to have him on the team. We need a small forward or guard that we can count on each night to be a consistent scorer (similar to Jefferson on the low block). So far, Hayward, Harris, and Miles haven’t shown they can do that on a nightly basis. Burks might be capable of assuming that role eventually, but our best bet is that Josh Howard gets his legs back under him, and becomes that guy.

Tyreke Evans is a terrible fit. He’s more of a scorer than a passer. He’s a thug and a bad influence for our young guys. Kyle Lowry would really help us. He’s one of the best PGs in steals and rebounds and is both a good passer and a good shooter.

    Harris is injured?

  7. Patrick says:

Put Paul Millsap in a trade. You lost me there. Want to know why?

If Paul and Jefferson’s minutes were equal. This is with all plays coming through Jefferson, which seems to limit Paul’s PPG.
    Paul Millsap 14.3 ppg, 10.9 reb, 1.5 ast, 2,3 st, .99 blk
    Jefferson 18.4 ppg, 8.4 reb, 1.6 ast, 1 st, 1.6 blk

Paul makes 6.7 Mil and Jefferson makes 14 Mil. So who do you think could bring us the better PG for the Money?

Best reason you don’t trade Paul Millsap? Favors has his best real game playing next to Millsap, while Al sits behind the bench. Who Plays with Favors better. Who makes Favors better. Its Millsap, Millsap is the best value and team player we have. He even makes it easier on AL. Dont believe me look at Al’s numbers when Paul is starting vs when he is not. If Burks had played that game instead of Bell, who knows what could have happened.

Want to trade any of our PG’s to upgrade, go for it. Want to trade Bell or Miles, go for it. But as far as the rest of the team goes, I think they are keepers. The rest will just take time.

I wouldnt mind Mo Williams since hes a 3rd string once billups is healthy. Andre Miller is a free agent next year. Although he will be 36 years old, hes still holding up pretty good, but hes just a temp fix as hes about done with his playing days I’d imagine.

We should offer up Miles, Bell, and or the rights to Tomic if anyone would be dumb enough to take em. Every one else is contributing to the team imo.

  9. Matt says:

I also like Aaron Brooks, he came up big more then once for his teams. I wonder what his plans are once he is done in China.

  10. Guido says:

Why don´t put Alec at pg? and trade Cj ass off for a big mac?

  11. L.K.Anderson says:

@Guido: Throw in some fries and a Coke and you may have a deal..

  12. Tyreke Evans isn’t even a PG … horrible shot selection, not a pass-first guy at all… he would be a terrible fit for the Jazz. I would love Kyle Lowry, but I imagine he is not on the trading block since he had better numbers than any point guard, incuding Rose, this season.

I say lets just stand pat, add a PG in the offseason…and play Burks

  13. DON’T trade Miles. He will be the big brother and mentor for this team…and who could be better than him for that.

  14. DON’T trade Millsap. He will be the big brother and mentor for this team…and who could be better than him for that.

  15. Kyle says:

    Steph Curry!!!!!

  16. Seriously Tyreke Evans?
I think Harris has more upside than a VERY immature T. Evans. He struggled all last year and continues to do so this year. He is an athletic guard who needs experience.
Harris is an athletic guard with experience and I think Harris right now is as good as Tyreke will get.

  17. Marty says:

I believe PG is KOCs top priority for next offseason. He’ll have (possibly) two lottery picks, the Memo trade exception, and the expiring/final year contracts of Al & Harris to work with.

I believe KOC will come home with the PG & wing player we need during next offseason.

Unless there’s a no-brainer trade that comes along, I think KOC stands pat with the roster while Ty tries to win while developing the young players.

Most of the players rumored to be on the trading block (Magette, Martin, etc.) are just as flawed as our veterans, but with longer or larger contracts. That doesn’t give the Jazz much incentive to trade for them.

  18. Chad says:

i agree with kyle, if we could trade for spicy curry in some way it would be amazing. Also another out of reach trade – Rubio. That kid would destroy teams with our offense. if you havent seen him play yet, find some highlights from this year so far and you’ll be surprised how well he actually he is doing

  19. Spencer says:

@chad totally agree with you about Rubio. Although I doubt the wolves let him get away unless its for a kings ransom.
