The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.The other day I saw that Matt Harpring put out a request over Twitter for a new nickname for Kanter rather than “UnderKanter” I too have thought he needs a better nickname. There have been a few put out there, but I just thought of one the other day. How about “The Turkinator”
Does anyone else have any good nicknames for Kanter or any of our other players? I’ve also been refering to C.J. Miles as “The Human Torch” from Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Obviously because he’s either on fire, or he’s not. Flame on C.J. … Flame on.

CJ should be called “Catapult” because all he does is chuck the rock.
Harpring needs to get over it. He thinks everything he says is funny and its not get over the advertisement reading jokes just be a commentator and stop trying to be funny.
Ha, I’d have to agree with Jazz King. Harpring needs to stop thinking up lame stuff to say and focus on the game. That includes saying “Jazz Nation” every 30 seconds
I hate the Jazz announcers. They are always caught up in “nicknames” and “Jazz nation” and “Signage” Its very annoying, they are so worried about finding nicknames for everyone they don’t commentate on the game half the time. Ugh.
You think the Jazz have bad announcers? You think Craig Bollerjack is a BAD announcer? WOW. Have you ever seen a game on TNT and ABC? They are THE. WORST. COMMENTATORS. IN. ALL. SPORTS. PERIOD. Boller gives an outstanding play by play. Ever heard of a guy by the name of Hot Rod Hundley? Yes? STFU.

Damn Cj could use damn crap human. And I like Underkanter a lot for that guy!
Boller and Harpring are fine. I would much rather watch our broadcast then the god awful, boring, robotic, TNT stuff!
Harpring is just having some fun. Which is fine, because basketball is suppose to be fun to watch.
Have you all ever heard the Spurs announcers? They are 100 times worse than Harpring. I do agree that he does get carried away with nicknames, but, you gotta like the “Swat Lake City” one he came up with.

Harpring needs to just be told about how great groove satellite is and then tell us in his own words. He’s terrible at reading promos. Also, I don’t like groove satellite because I get the feeling they are ran by someone with some sort of ‘in’ with the Larry H Miller family.
