The Jazz come up short in an up-and-down contest.

The stats were pretty even for the most part, but the +/- stats were very telling: The starters were on average -13.6, while the reserves were +9.6. The Sixers’ starters were +13.2 and their backups were -7.2.

Millsap led the Jazz with 22 & 7. Carroll was big off the bench, scoring 17 with a +/- of +11 — highest on the team along with Kanter. Jefferson had 15 & 9, but posted a very ugly +/- with -19.

Jrue Halliday led Philadelphia with 26 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. Jason Richardson had 20 & 8, while Thaddeus Young added 14 & 8 — with an impressive +/- of +24.

1-2 on the road trip now, with the winless Wizards on the block Saturday night in D.C.

  1. Jazz are Effing slow athletically . Play Mo, burks, Hayward, Carrol, and Favors and Kanter more. WTH is evans?? why did we give a lengthy contract to someone that racks up DNP’s all season?

  2. wont be surprised if we lose to the Wizards speed.

  3. Henri says:

This team lives and die by Al Jefferson … too many head-contested (or eye-contested) shots, too many isolation plays and the jazz dies.

Mo Williams wants to play PG … but needs to improve the quality of his decision. I do think a Jefferson for Calderon trade (+ pieces to make it work) would benefit both Raptors and Jazz.

  4. Omar says:

You called it Jazzed uponit!!! When Al and Tinsley are combining for 52 minutes per game, Jazz are going to be one of the least athletic teams.

hahaha Henri!! A friend of mine said Al must think he’s a Jedi Knight trying to force the action with his mind….wtf. He’s sorry center.
