Jeff Hornacek— head coach?

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the Orlando Magic are apparently interested in interviewing Hornacek for their head coaching vacancy. ESPN also picked up the story.

Thoughts? I would love to see Hornacek get the opportunity, but hate the thought of losing him from our coaching staff.

   I’d be excited for him because he is such a good guy. But I would miss him, he seems to be the only coach we have with a specific skill that really helps our players.

   I would be real surprised if Hornacek went for that. But I also have wondered how he would do as head coach. Smart move by Orlando, maybe that kid wonder GM knows what he’s doing.

   In interviews John Stockton declined any intention for a coaching career. He said he was following and staying involved with his son’s games. Sign Michael Stockton. Sign John Stockton and Bring in Karl Malone. Hornacek and Stock work the guards and shooting. Karl works the big men.
