    I actually thought last year Watson was one of the few bright spots in what was a very depressing year. After games he seemed to say all the right things when other players seemed to be accepting their fate when a run of injuries and other such things cropped up. He’s not much of a scorer but I’ve always liked when he is on the floor, he has a high basketball IQ and seems to have a knack of getting the best out of those around him.

    I was afraid that another team was going to come along and take Watson away but the GM did a good piece of business resigning Earl, because I really think without him the progress of the younger guys would have been slowed.

    I was looking forward to seeing what Harris could do this year now that he knew the team better but I’ve found myself much more comfortable watching when Earl is on the court. He might be part of the second unit but he along with Millsap is one of the natural leaders of the team.
