The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Whenever I hear about the logjam at the PF spot, I don’t usually hear about Jeremy Evans. But the kid can play. He’s been impressive in Vegas. I came across this highlight and thought I would share it.

Firstly, thanks for posting something relevant and readable.
I love Jeremy Evans and I hope he gets some minutes. Perhaps he can play 2nd string at the SF spot rather than 3rd string PF. He deserves minutes because he works hard and is just a good kid. As I said seeing how Hayward might be our starting SG he could back up a free agent SF we sign or if Hayward starts at the SF he could back him up.
I agree. I could see him getting time at both forward spots. He is a nightmare against PFs with his quickness and against SFs with his length. Kinda like AK. But he would need to improve his shot (which I have read he is working on) to play SF or get stronger (also which I have read he is working on) to play PF. He is exactly the type of energy guy every team needs on their bench.
I’m thinking we’re going to have a great second unit. Evans, Millsap, Kanter, Burks, Watson (that would be my second unit anyway).
Evans could very well turn out to be the draft steal of the century… with that much athleticism there really is no cap for his potential.
i really like Evans it will be fun to see how he can contribute. Those highlights are great.
I really believe Jeremy Evans will have a significant impact with the team next season. He’s been working hard on his game, and just has off the charts athletic ability.
He’s the most underrated part of our young core, that also includes Hayward, Kanter, Burks, and Favors. I hope all five of these guys get significant minutes next season. Jeremy probably should have been a first round pick, rather then a late second round selection.
We need to sign him long term and get him playing the 3. Get him for 4-5 years as soon as the lockout is over with so someone else doesn’t sneak in and take him.(*cough* Portland)
