Brewer may have not had the best jump shot but he sure could throw it down! Plus he’s an all around great guy! I miss this Cat..

Still signed with the Chicago Jazz. I’d like him back but I think Burks is going to be better. Much like Brewer he can play around the rim, he is a very good ball handler, he can get to the rim at will, and he has a jump shot. Plus give him a year with Hornecek and a 3pt shot will appear consistently.
Wouldn’t hurt to add him to the roster, knows the system, plus man it’s Ronnie Brewer
Love them dunks! BRING THE GAT DAMN HOUSE DOWN! HAHA

I really missed him next year. But I think we’ve rebuilt enough we don’t need him. He’s a good defender though. I miss that. Need Raja to step up defensively and resign AK and we should be ok.
Like the guy but definitely pass. He shot just of 65% from the line and 22% from the three last year. He only made 6 three all year. For a team that really needs outside shooting he is definitely not the answer.
I think we have to stop living in the past, and embrace the future. I enjoyed Brewer too, but just like I did with AK, there was a point in his career in which I just cringed when he would pull up for a jump shot.
We need to remember how important it is to have a shooting guard that can shoot. It stretches the floor, and opens the game up for the team, and the system.
I’d say our time is better spent developing the new guys.
I liked Ronnie. But Kobe had him stone cold figured out last playoff series against the Fakers. Bryant took away his one move (slash to the basket for a layup/dunk) and Ronnie was just a body in the way; One stop on the ball’s route around the perimeter; A brick clanging off the rim.meanwhile Kobe was closer for help defense, clogging the paint, and disrupting pass lanes.
When you’re a one trick pony, you can’t keep the defense honest. Let’s hope Burks can get a few mid-range or three-point spots where he’s comfortable hitting a jumper so he can keep his option to take it to the hole open.
We have a potentially better Ronnie….Alec Burks.
If anyone I want Wes back.
