Draft madness

I think the Jazz will move up in the draft, why? The Jazz are hosting a draft party.

Why in the world would the Jazz host a draft party for a second round pick? The Jazz are apparently very interested in Damien Lillard, the PG from Weber state.

He is projected to go in the top 10 and the Jazz are interested in moving up.  That being said the article mentions Millsap is looking for an extension and I hope he gets it (off topic). The question remains what do we have to give up to get a top 10 pick? I think it will be an interesting night to say the least.

These are all rumors but the biggest thing pointing to a move being made is the Jazz hosting a Draft party. 2nd round picks don’t get draft parties.

I wasn’t sure they were going to move up until I saw a draft party. Now I’m 80% sure they will. There are several teams with multiple picks that that gives us an even greater chance. LILLARD!!!!

Portland was looking at Harris last year, and have talked about getting experience and sending picks away. There are several other teams talking about wanting experience over draft picks as well. Some just for future assets. Many can use Al’s talents. Then there is the biggest piece that should only be used for a top 3 pick, Sap with an extension. Anything can happen, or nothing. But with all the assets KOC has at his disposal, it will be in interesting night indeed.

I would agree with Patrick. Blazers have liked Harris for a long time.Salaries have to come close and the #6 pick is only worth about three million. Send Bell with Harris and get your trade machines out to figure someone else Blazers can send. They pretty well got rid of all their trash at the trade deadline. Maybe a three way with Crawford being in the deal. Blazers extended his contract so that he could be involved in a deal..
