Sick of the less than stellar performance!

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.I’d be happy at this point to see the whole starting lineup go and starting the core 4 and watson. That isn’t going to happen however. My head is in the clouds on this one but i’d love to see D. Will back, and i’m sure he’d welcome it. What do you think?

D Will is a cancer that will infect any team he is with. I for one am glad he is not our problem anymore. He is too wrapped up in himself and is not a team player.
I agree C4 need to start but with 1) Marvin; 2) Carroll; 3) maybe Evans.
Watson needs to be dumped like s ton of brick, kinda like what his jumper is.
Month of December:
17 minutes; 17.6 FG % (his FG % is equal to his minutes?!!!!); 11% 3pt FG; 66.7 FT %; 1.8 Rebounds; 3.4 assists; 1.7 TO; 1.6 points per game (Watson averages more turnovers than points!!!!)—Fire Corbin.
Why would we want to take on $140 million of the Nets spending spree? I love D-Will and all but would not want him back in a Jazz uniform anytime soon. He’s not the same player he was with the Jazz and not worth the $100 million contract.
I really don’t think it’s Corbin’s fault that he has to play Watson. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think Mo getting hurt should get Corbin fired.
Prior to Mo’s injury:
Watson averaged 14.4 minutes
Prior to Mo signing with the Jazz:
Watson averaged 20.7 minutes and 3.0 points (he complained when Tinsley became #2 PG, Corbin buckled and reinserted Watson into rotation).
CJ, Raja (who everyone hates and says is worthless), Howard—all averaged over 22 minutes under Corbin.
Thats why Corbin should be fired, not cuz of Mos injury. And how bout some creativity: Hayward, Foye, Burks as backup PG?!
Ok, I completely agree with you guys that he does have to try something new at the PG. Watson and Tinsley aren’t cutting it, not even close. I really think the Jazz are just trying to hold it together until the offseason where they are going to retool. The team we have now won’t win now or long-term. I don’t think they should fire Corbin for that though, but I could very well be wrong.
Its cuz this is a rerun of last year, Corbin had his chance.
I love the C4, and like everyone else, would love to see them get significant minutes together. BUT, a couple things I’ve noticed that are preventing this. 1) Kanter and Favors can’t stay on the floor long enough for significant minutes. For as talented as they are, they still foul like crazy. Cut down the fouls, and more minutes should be given. 2) Favors has plantar fascitis (however you spell it). I don’t think the Jazz are taking this injury lightly. They aren’t going to throw 30-35 minutes a night at him until they know his foot can take it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this injury temporarily foiled any trade plans the front office had.
Corbin is making other coaching errors. Timeout usage, off ball screens , overall play execution is horrendous. There is a reason we are 28th defensively and 28th offensively in the league this last month. And with this much defensive talent, it is pure coaching. We look like our ball movement is coming back, but I question if that is just because Minnesota is so damn slow. Also not every coach has to be a good player teacher/developer, but were a development team right now. Essentially we are in a rebuild. Corbin is not a development teacher. He is not going to tap players potential and he is not giving the best talent minutes. He could have used Burks and Hayward even last year bringing the ball up the court running PG ocassionally to prepare them for backup PG duties. If you know your teams weak at the PG, why would you not prepare your better talent to pick up the slack?? There are a lot of coaches out there that know talent, see the big picture and Corbin is not one of them.
oh yeah
