its far fetch but..

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.its out there but if you throw in a few first round picks it might happenmenphis isnt found of rudy so i think they would be up for it andthe bobcats wanted to get rid of thomas for a few years now. we get an allstar and a potential all star. bobcats get a great center and dont loose alot at the pg with sessions in.and memphis gets rid of rudys big contract and get someone to play pick amd role ball with conelly.
so are startin five would be
pg kemba, williams
sg burks or foye, williams
sf gay, hayward, carrol
pf thomas, evans
c favors, kanter
i dont know why it say we would loose that many more games it doesnt make sense to me. but i think it would be great if you could get all teams on board.

Oh yeah give up Gordon Hayward, man what’s going on with these stupid trade ideas lately? You don’t trade a young player when you still can’t see what his ceiling is. Do you already know where Gordon’s is? or the previous trade, do we know where Burks’ ceiling is? I certainly don’t maybe you can shed some light fortune teller…
@ Trevor – in your trade dont forget Hayward is traded.
At SF position we have Ray and Carroll.
I dont think Memphis do it.
And what about this trade:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bk4r498
Charlotte receive: All Jefferson + Raja Bell + Randy Foye + Picks
Utah receive: L.Aldridge + T.Thomas + W.Matthews + Kemba Walker
Portland receive: Ben gordon + Paul Millsap + Picks
Utah Roster
PG: kemba, Mo-Will
SG: Matthews , Burks
SF: Hawyard, Ma-Will,Carroll
PF: Favors , Evans
C: Kanter, Thomas
Gay gets paid too much for what he brings to the table. Thomas contract very bad. Jazz would not take it on.
I would rather let Al Jefferson and Millsap walk. We don’t need other teams’ trash. That just ties the Jazz up with useless salary. Gordon Hayward might not be as good as Rudy but he is a lot cheaper.
Anyone else noticing a trend? Both Memphis and Denver signed up their core players on long term contracts, giving their players big money in the process. Then Denver shipped Nene for McGee, and then made another trade for Iguodala in the summer. Now Memphis are looking to ship an expensive Rudy on to pastures new. It seems to be some teams are trying to sign up the players they want on long term contracts and then signing up a couple of extra players making them buy into the team’s long term success only to try and move that player(s) onto another more desperate team and leave them with an expensive contract to pay.
From what I can see some GM’s seem to be playing the system by signing some players on long term contracts, that they have no intention of keeping, and then dumping them on desperate teams thus hampering that teams ability in the future to make constructive roster decisions in the future. Its all well and good a team getting a Nene or Rudy Gay, but if that player comes at the cost of an expensive contract it can leave a team with little maneuverability later. Would Rudy Gay or Nene get the same contract in the free market as a team is willing to give them when they only have to pay it for 6 months or so?
Not too sure what trade isnt far fetched, until it goes through.
I remember thinkin that d- will was untradeable then it happened.
I like lookin at all trade ideas regardless of its improbabilities.
I dont really like the rudy gay trade just because of hayward and burks.
I think they play really well together, and i would like to see th grow as teammates.
Wait wait wait jamezz you would rather have hayward then rudy? Wow really thats sad just for consistentcy alone i would take rudy over hayward. I like your idea jack i dont see portland trading alridge though seriously whywould they get rid of him when he is better then any of are bigs we could give them? And milsaped what trash besides we get besides thomas who is a decent defender anyway? Worse comes to worse he doesnt pan out and ee throw kanter and favors in the starting line up and they develope quicker.
A much better trade would be
Paul Millsap for
Charlotte Bobcats’ Ramon Sessions & Byron Mullens
or
Al Jefferson & Raja Bell for
Sacramento/Seattle’s Tyreke Evans, Jason Thompson, & John Salmons
As the roster stands just now, those trades wouldn’t work, the Jazz don’t have space on the roster for a 1 player for 2, or 2 players for 3 return type of deal.
You can always send murphy back down to the dleague for the season so he can develop more.
