The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.Gordan Hayward 21 points 8-12 30 min
Enes Kanter 6 point 5 rebounds after a career night last night.. 18 and 7, he only got around 14 mins tonight as well as last night! With Favors out..really??
Alec Burkes 11 points, added a nice spark off the bench with 14 min! Good to see him out there
Jeremy Evans with 4 points..wasnt to impressive besides his put back dunk! 9 min
Derrick Favors, i hope hes back on monday we missed his defensive presence, he also needs more minutes!
Trade one of the bigs, that’s what we have to do the get these young guys minutes. Millsap hasn’t looked so good
the past few games and it really upset me that Kanter only got 14 minutes with favors out!
And Kandell Marshall is in the D league right now for the Suns, so we could get him for cheap.. if we want him!

Picks woukd have to be exchanged as well
Next year can’t come soon enough. We’re gonna have slam dunks and ally oops all over the place. That is if the Jazz don’t sign 6 guys over 35 and play them starter minutes.
Maybe there is a reason if kendall Marshall is in the D league right now…….
Considering the suns are pretty poor Marshall mustnt be playing too well if theyve stuck him in the D League, though I do like the idea of a young PG being part of a trade. If we sent Corbin to the d league he’d have to play young blokes, just a thought
Still it would be nice to have a pass first pg running the show again not saying he would start or even play much this year but, the gamble for marshal and a few other players might pay off. Like sap or al for a shanon brown or markeef moris and marshal.
Basically this team is a fringe play-off team unless something changes. A trade, a coaching change, a philosophy change perhaps (Like a focus on developing young talent and defense). We still lose on the road. We don’t blow teams out. We let bad teams keep the game close enough that they win sometimes. There is very little accounability for play, at least as it relates to time on the court. Less than full effort on both sides of the ball from a lor of players. A lot of bad trends, habits, etc. that have been working their way into the Jazz culture.
@trevor, Tinsley and Watson are two pass first pg, and fans are constently bashing on them, so what is the difference with marshall……..
French Dude that is just what I was thinking . I hear everyone bash on Tinsley and Watson , then saying that we need a pg that will pass first . Isnt that what they do ? If the pg is a pass first pg then he will be less of a offensive threat aka Tinsley and Watson .
Just my thoughts .
Players need to be earning spots. No more vet treatment. Kanter deserved to start, not just get more minutes. And he got less. Rediculous.
Jazz are dangerously close to becoming the recent Orlando Magic teams–minus Howard: we have no interior D (Kanter 15 MPG and Favors 22 MPG, not enough) and settle too often for jump shots. Which is a positive when the shots are falling, but when they are not, its gonna be a problem.
Especially in the playoffs against good Ds–we are gonna live and die by the 3.
Jazz need to shrink this roster, these young players need the minutes consistently to develop. Either Al and Millsap needs to be traded soon and either Tinsley or Watson while DNPing the other (giving Burks or Foye the minutes).
Well for one french dude jazz fans need to stop that crap because watson and tinsley are two of are better players coming off the bench. Anther thing marshal has the potential to be a starter in this league and run a team watson and tinsleys time has past. People dis on them so much because a pass first pg coming off the bench never looks as good as a starting pg that’s a pass first pg. I think jazz fans just look at stats and see watson or tinsley didn’t score much and it makes them mad that don’t look past the scoring. So if you have a pass first pg you need one that could start. Because one coming off the bench never appeals to your average fan.
