Meet
Adam Morrison

The author's views are entirely his or her own and may not reflect the views of the Utah Jazz.A lot of folks think this guy is washed up, but I question the situations he was in. Thoughts on the Jazz picking him up (he was heralded for his shooting at one point, something the Jazz still need)? I recognize that we have a lot of forwards, but I still feel like KOC has something up his sleeve.

Okay, now that the Vegas Summer league is over:
http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/07/22/las-vegas-summer-league-day-10-recap/?ls=iref:nbahpt1
“Morrison did more than OK in his five days here. After Sunday’s performance, Morrison boosted his average to 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds and shot 55 percent in 33 minutes per game. ”

I never said the guy was LBJ, but he has shown that he can play with this caliber of player. With the Jazz’s situation, we typically have to look for good deal players. Adam is one that just wants to make a roster.
Enough on that.

r u kidding right?
Hahahahahahaha oh man Hahahahahahaha sorry this was kinda random and never expected this ever
Guido and dallan, don’t be jerks. If you don’t like the idea then either don’t comment or say why you don’t think it would work, but don’t continue to destroy this site by attacking people and basically indicate they’re stupid.
That said I think Morrison is like Almond… They just aren’t going to cut it at the higher nba level. After as many years Morrison has been on the bench he would have made a showing if it was going to happen. He’s done IMO
Then sign him and go to NBA hell freak bastard.
I dont waste my time to make a logical post to talk bout Adam Morrison.
Normally, I would agree with Jake in this scenario.
However, this is Adam Morrison we’re talking about. He is barely worthy of holding Blake Ahearn’s jockstrap.
Wow! Justin, don’t listen to these disrespectful jerks.
Justin, what do you see in Adam and what are you basing your opinion of him on?
You probably should’ve done the research on this before posting, since Morrison was a total bust in the NBA – the guy is a career 37% shooter, 33% from 3, worse than Big Al at free throws as an example … just not close to being an NBA-level player. He rated worse than replacement level all 3 of his NBA seasons. He might even be worse at basketball than Ronnie Price. He’s definitely worse than Blake Ahearn, and you’ve seen how contemptuous I am towards that guy =P
Even in college with the shorter 3P line he only made 128 of 348 total. I’m not sure where you got “he was heralded for his shooting” because that hasn’t ever been true – the only source of fame for Morrison was being an NBDL standout for a portion of a season.
Justin this post is the laughing stock of UJ360, just like Adam Morrison was the laughing stock of the NBA and the jazz would be the laughing stock of the NBA if they ever paid him.
To be nice this guy was a bust on two different teams. His second team(Lakers) he was used as a filler and we take a bad contract so do you..Was offical team member on the Lakers last championship so he has a ring. But this four year vet is playing summer league with rookies and players looking for a roster spot. My be is he will go unsigned..
Chris is my new hero on here. He made good points against Justin’s thought process, WITHOUT berating him.
Very well done Chris.
Don’t think I didn’t catch that little jab against Ahearn though…..lol
