That was blatant, and with total intent (and contact with Hayward’s jaw, for that matter). I was thinking he’d get 10 games, or something like that… Thoughts?

I agree that it was a bit underdone. Hayward took it in stride. I think in a way Afflalo got lucky. Had it been some guys, they would have fallen to the ground rolling around playing it up which probably would have resulted in much more. Or maybe clocked him. Hayward kind of shrugged it off. Personally I think the fine should line Hayward pockets for taking it so well.
If Hayward had flopped, and rolled around on the court like a fish out of water like Blake Griffin, i’m sure the league would have come down harder on Afflalo.
Gordon needs to work on his acting.
Gordon’s not a b*tch like many other players in the NBA. He’s a stud.
I do have to agree. I mentioned on SLC dunk that after watching it again I have to admit that Gordon took that hit like a champ.
I also think that Gordon is starting to get a lot less ticky tack fouls that other soph’s would get for how much he plays def on star players, because he takes everything else like a champ and doesn’t pull a Ginobili, Griffin, Cousins, or Fisher.
These things happen. Who cares NBA players are only smoke and, mirrors to us.
Steve, Nice take. Nooootttttttt.. I like my smoke and mirror players, especially ones who can take a cheap shot and say that it was nothing. Hayward may only be a Boy, but he’s a real boy. Great for Hayward, bad for the chump.
